HAGANE gear

What I aimed for was a winding that will never change.

A lump of metal is pressed at high pressure and finished with microns of accuracy without cutting. The unique technology called precision cold forging creates a hard and tenacious gear, enabling smooth winding.

Micromodule gear II evolved by Shimano's unique manufacturing technology, the most cutting-edge tooth surface design. In addition to conventional water repellent treatment, by combining a labyrinth structure that suppresses water intrusion, we have achieved high waterproof performance while being non-contact. It is used in the stopper bearing part, line roller part, etc.

G free body

The sliding function parts for moving the spool back and forth are placed on the top of the reel body, and the center of gravity of the entire reel is successfully brought closer to the hand. This improves the sense of unity with the rod, reduces fatigue caused by casting, and improves rod operability.

AR-C spool

By applying special anti-rust treatment to the bearing itself, the durability against rust has been greatly improved. S A-RB further seals the sides with anti-rust material, which greatly reduces the salt sting due to salt recrystallization inside the bearing.
