DAIWA 24 SALTIGA 15L

The Saltiga 15L is offering latest DAIWA technologies for conventional reels. The aim for development was to provide easy operation by improving the balance, lightness and durability. The body features a special "thumb holding frame" design to keep the reel in prefect balance. The Hyper Driver Design concept ensures incredible winding power and durability. The machined Hyper Drive Digigear improves power transmission thank to the bigger gear teeth. The Hyper Armed Housing made by aluminium holds the gearing torsion resistant inside the body and the Hyper Tough Clutch always remains in position even on hard casts. The Hyper Double Support provides two ball bearings on each side of the pinion gear to achieve a perfect power transmission from the handle.

To avoid corrosion, a victim anode has been installed inside the body. The waterproof ATD drag provides smooth line release under load and facilitates operation with thin lines. Features a click sound star drag. For winding heavy loads, the handle length can be reduced from 85mm to 75mm. The perfect reel for light Jigging and for coalfish, cod and halibut in Norway.

This reel features a spool-block button on the body's side plate.
